Kirk Cousins feels like a kid on Christmas over new QB nook

Kirk Cousins was pretty excited to show off a new area at the Redskins training facility that will hopefully help him become a better quarterback.

Cousins is heading into his sixth season with the Redskins. Although he is not locked into a long-term deal with the team, Washington has invested in a work space to help Cousins be the best he can be. Cousins showed off the new “QB nook” on Instagram that contains a monitor and two white boards.

Cousins will once again be playing under the exclusive franchise tag since a long-term contract was not able to be agreed upon. He was named to his first Pro Bowl team last season after completing 67 percent of his passes for 4,917 yards with 25 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Another equally productive season (or better) and Cousins may have to give a shoutout to the nook.
